Valued Critter Control Customers

Here at Critter Control of Central Florida protecting your family and home, or business is our first priority along with the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and the communities we serve. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) impact has escalated, we have taken additional actions to ensure that we will continue to provide our essential pest management and wildlife control services to protect your family and home, or business safely and without interruption. Pest control (including wildlife control) is an essential service and we intend to protect the public health of our customers and their property. During World War II, the pest control industry was one of only a few services considered so vital to our nation that they were exempt from fuel rationing.

What We Are Doing

Prior to arriving at your home or place of business, your technician will call to confirm your appointment as normal. If you are scheduled for an interior service, we will ask if anyone in your residence or place of business is ill with viral symptoms or quarantined. If so, we will only perform exterior services. We will not enter your home or place of business.

In most cases, our services can be performed outside your home or business without entry or human contact. If entry is required or requested, it can be done with limited human contact.

What Can You Expect When We Arrive To Resolve Your Pest Problem

Our pest and wildlife sales and service technician and any support team member will be wearing a facemask and will maintain a distance from you of at least six feet. In instances where pest control service is required indoors, upon being granted permission to enter, we will utilize applicable personal protective equipment such as our technicians are equipped with shoe covers, a respirator, goggles, disposable gloves, disposable cloths, and waste bags with ties along with hand sanitizer and disinfectant.

Managing Prevention

Our technicians and staff remain vigilant with existing health precautions such as regular hand washing and disinfecting service tools and equipment after every residential or commercial service. In addition, our technicians and staff are informed as to best practices following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They have been advised to stay home if they feel ill or may have come into contact with someone who has been exposed.

During this time of year in Florida, many common household pests are emerging; cockroaches, ants, centipedes, rodents to name a few, as well as invading wildlife; squirrels, raccoons, snakes, opossums, bats entering homes and businesses – and it is important to maintain control of these pests. We will continue responding to the needs of our customers and employees as this situation evolves.
